Batting & Fielding Coaching

After founding ASK Cricket Coaching in 2009, Hamish has been coaching cricket in the form of 1-to-1, 2-to-1, small groups, teams and clinic coaching across a variety of age groups and skill levels.  In 2012 he completed his Cricket Australia Level 2 Coaching Accreditation and graduated from The University of Queensland with a Graduate Diploma in Sports Coaching.  

On completion of his formal studies, Hamish moved to the United Kingdom to pursue a professional cricket career in Scotland.  He was fortunate to have met so many wonderful people on the way and grateful for the opportunity to have travelled much of the U.K. and attend several international tours.  His greatest honour was representing Scotland in the ICC Cricket World Cup in Australia and New Zealand in 2015.  While in the U.K. Hamish also coached at Carlton Cricket Club in Edinburgh and Plymouth Cricket Club in Devon. 

On returning to Brisbane he has been passionate about sharing his experiences with other cricketers and coaches.  In this time he has held the positions of Head Cricket Coach at Brisbane Boys College, served two seasons as Director of Cricket at The University of Queensland Cricket Club, and is an ongoing member of the Blues Cricket Academy coaching team.
